Transformers
Packaged portable transformers allow you to step down 600 or 480-volt power to match the voltage of the rental equipment package. Portable transformers can be fitted with Appleton or Cam-Lok plugs on the line side and Cam-Lok plugs on the load side, letting you simply plug into our units, power up, and get ready to chill or warm up whatever the case may be.

Packaged portable transformers allow you to step down from 600 volt to standard 208 volt power. They simply roll up to our equipment and plug in. Once the transformer is energized, throw the disconnect switch and you’re ready to go.

Electrical Distribution
As a part of our comprehensive heating and cooling services, we design and provide a safe, versatile, and easy-to-use electrical distribution package.
Equipment Selection:
Electrical Cable
We stock electrical cables that can be used to power up all of our equipment. From simple 115 volt extension cords to 50′ # 2 Cam-Lok cable sections capable of carrying 200 Amps of power.
- Heavy gauge wire for all our 115 volt units
- 10/3 and 10/4 cab tire cables are fitted with Hubbell twist lock plugs
- 6/3 and 6/4 cab tire cables require our junction boxes to allow for easy hook-up
Junction Boxes
These specially built boxes facilitate connection between our heavy gauge wire and our units. They are equipped with Cam-Lok cord ends which enables us to simply plug our units in at the time of installation.
- Rugged water tight construction allows exterior use
- Aluminum housing doesn’t rust or peel
- Can be sent beforehand to allow for connection prior to Cool Air arriving
Power Distribution Boxes
Purpose built distribution centres offer feeds of up to 200 Amps the ability to be broken into 15, 20, or 30 Amp circuits. Internal breakers offer individual circuit protection and control. The load centre enables us to properly manage electrical requirements.

Fuel Tank Rentals
Our diesel-fired heaters average about 17 hours of run-time from the full onboard tank, which is perfect for a weekend. However, when it comes to long-term heating jobs, you don’t want to be making fuel runs every few days. With these drop-in fuel tanks, you can run our rental heaters continuously for as long as you need. We can schedule a re-fueling program for you, too!
